Summer in Nature Park Karwendel
The Karwendel Nature Park and the Region Seefeld - Tirols Hochplateau are a paradise for nature lovers. Crystal-clear water, blooming meadows and alpine pastures, cycle paths, hiking trails, climbing areas and canoeing.
Always worth a visit is the source of the river Isar with its right-turning water, the rushing Gleirschklamm gorge or the Karwendelsteg with its wildly romantic gorge. The most comfortable way to reach the countless alpine pastures and huts is by mountain- or e-bike, which we also offer for hire.
Winter in Nature Park Karwendel
Deep snow-covered, untouched landscape awaits you at 1020 m above sea level. No matter whether you walk through the snow with touring skis, snowshoes or winter boots - you will notice how relaxing the peace and quiet in the woods is.
If you want it more turbulent, you can reach the cross-country ski runs of the Region Seefeld - Tirols Hochplateau 2 km away. You can go by car or train to Seefeld 10 km away to the Rosshütte and Gschwandkopf ski areas and other winter hiking trails. If you prefer a toboggan run, the natural toboggan run at the Kreidegraben in the immediate vicinity is just right for you.
